Default Baffles

Is anyone out there running without baffles, Thinking of removing the baffles from my SE slipons after hearing a similar setup on another bike. Isn't there supposed to be some kind of back pressure????????? the guy that had the bike said you don't want any back pressure ( the sound was fantastic though.

thanks for the input

there needs to be backpressure - just how much depends on the flow of your exhaust - im not familiar with your slip ons, but my 2:1 sounds like **** without baffle AND even without packing - and in fact a dramatic change in performance with or without packing also.

There are hundreds of posts on here for baffel questions.

I believe if you go through the under 50 post above you can find one on the SE slip ons, on removing or changing the baffles.

I took the baffles out of my Big Radius 2-2's and not only did it sound like a big bag of dammit, ALL the torque was gone. That was my case and obviously with different exhaust.

I tried lollypop set up using eyebolts with 2 washers thru eye hold by small screw w/ nut, ran eyebolt thru hole for screw that hold baffle, hold in place with 2 nuts. lost some back pressure, sounded loud, kept glasspack inside mufflers.

Or just open SEII flaps inside baffles.
