WideGlide - Wide Glide Conversion 06 Dyna
Has anyone done a wideglide conversion on an 06 FXD Dyna Superglide without changing out the wheel? The kits all seem to have a rotor spacer for a 10" rotor. With the single floating 11.81 in. rotor up front I'm assuming the caliper would require a spacer to be moved in. Does anyone know if such an animal is available? The rest seems staright forward. I'm going to use a stock 49mm WG tree. (2 deg rake) 3 deg. raked cups. 2" over tubes. That will bring my ride height back to spec and trail will be around 3.96" or so. I'll do an actual measurement on the neck angle once it's together, re-calculate and see if I need to drop the rear a bit to get it over 4". I'm a bit fussy on trail as I ride hard most of the time.
I'll need an axle kit and fender spacers. I guess if I had to I could have a caliper spacer made. Anyone ever run into this? Thanks!

This is the kit you need. It comes with everything including an axle. I have this kit and will be using it when I install Fat Bob trees.

They offer it for both types, I think it's just a generic pic on the site.
