The rear is lowered about 1.5". I road the other night but couldn't see too well, and my high beam seemed waaaay out there. I will check the headlight based on the manual, but is it normal to have to do this?
all you have to do is manually adjust the light, there are specific measurements that it should be set to. if you park 25 ft away from a wall and shine your headlight at it, the center of the light should be roughly 3 ft high.( i had the same problem with my 04 low)
So what if you don't have 25 feet of level surface to check the adjustment? Is there a way to do this in a shorter distance? My driveway runs uphill to the garage, so that won't work, and a garage is only about 21' deep, so if I park the bike right at the door I'm only 15' or so from the wall.

Any tricks or tips for adjusting headlights?
Thanks

Wait till dark, lossen the bolt... just a little and put the wrenches in your pocket.
Go for a ride, find a steady level length of road, reach over the bars & 'tap' the headlight till you like it.
Pull over and tighten the bolt.
