So my 08 FXDC started having the mystery stalling, idle, not starting issues intermittently. Had some line overvoltage codes so I took it it. Dealer hooked it up (I wasnt there) and they are getting some sort of signal that they couldnt figure out. They called HD and they said replace the Speedo? the service writer also said he slipped up when he told the the bike had been in before with the PO and they replaced the wiring harness. Warranty is up in may. Im concerned I have a lemon. Bike is stock other than Cycle Shack slip-ons. I did have Xied's on but pulled them before I took it it. Only things I have done were to add some sta-bil thinking I may have gotten bad gas. I did have mexican that night...Hmmmmmm

Honestly
It seems to be running ok at this point on the five mile trip from the dealer, minus the normal hesitation from the lean factory settings (w/o the Xied's installed). Service guy said that when a bike has a warranty "history" the factory will usually stand behind it. I was just feeling a little nervous about a band-aid fix...figured someone here maybe has dealt with these kind of issues as far as warranty goes. Ive heard some horror stories though so I'm a little concerned
