What the hell is a supersport lowrider?? Chevy special edition? If the dude hit the shoulder on his FXDSSL, there's a good chance that's how he manged to fly 40 feet through the air AFTER smacking his face off of a telephone pole and leave a 200ft oil slick on the road. That's one long *** s-curve. I bet that skid plate adds 20 hp.

I just want to add that us Harley riders don't need any protection.

We are real men and not wusses.....

(pirates voice) we use telephone poles for toothpicks, arrrrrr

"hit a rough shoulder"

In other words, he rode off the road, thus losing control.

I'd also like to see the evidence that the MoCo has paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars without admitting fault. Virtually all out of court settlements include a gag order forbidding either party from revealing the terms of the settlement. If HD has in fact made payments, how the hell do these idiots know about it?

I actually have been concerned that the pan hangs down the way it does (but mostly cuz I dont want to have to buy a new pan when I rip her open offroading) so a skid plate actually doesnt sound like a bad add on to me - But I totally agree the 'youre gonna die if you dont buy my product' marketing is farking bullsh1t - sort of reminds me of the way true track markets their product.

uh hello, we ride motorcycles, they are death traps inherently.. duh!!
