Default Fork Seal Leaking

Left fork seal was leaking thought it was my brake caliper. Replaced seals in caliper didnt find anything wrong after reinstalled noticed dust on fork thats when i realized where the fluid was comeing from. Never been replaced before less than 19000 miles looks like they were installed with a screwdriver.

Bought it in Aug 05 had 600 miles on it was a trade in from local Dealer. Broke down the other fork had some rust but not gouged up like this one was. Pretty sure it was factory idiot couldnt find his TOOL. I used 1 1/4 PVC pipe to reinstall.

Have you had any service on the front end at all? I can't believe the seal was that gouged and JUST started leaking after 5yrs of use.

Never had any front end work done. Last time was in the shop had the 5000 mile service done. Decided to buy a manual and my own tools. Primary drain screw started leaking after they worked on it and decided that I can csrew it up better than them. Getting ready to change my fluids this weekend. Shop rates went up to 75 bux an hr. 75 bux will buy alot of groceries well at least a weeks worth...
