wow thats a project.... what cams are you using? you did the heads also right?

I'm like Paul and I would like to know which cams you're going with and what are you doing with your heads. Are you finally going to move to the dark side and get a 2-1 pipe?

He's got Andrews 37 cams. Going to have the heads ported by the same guy who did mine. Mine did well 100hp and 108tq with the same cams. He is going use my old (7k) pistons and jugs. We are also going to have the crank trued and welded and have the Timken bearing installed. We figure this is a good idea considering how Joe rides! It should be power slide proof!

Who did your heads Chad? I might have a little fun money coming and heads/cams and possibly a BB sounds like fun.

Checkout the SE non roller 1.725 rockers while you have it apart. I paid about $150. for a set. It brings the lift to .541, I'm running them with my 37's, I had a port job at the same time but my bike screams now.

They were done by a local shop. He is pretty well known on a couple other forums. I will PM you a link to his site so the mods stay happy.

i see somebody use the same oil combo as i do...severe duty in the trans..synth atf in the primary..synth 20/50 in the engine...nice pics...nothin like tearin it down..even better when you revive it...IT LIVES..lol
