Shocks on an 02 fxd superglide???
Hi all. I'm new to the forum. Looks like a great site!!!! Does anyone know how long the stock shocks are on an 02 superglide? I ordered some new shocks from Licks cycles that are 11 3/4 inch long. I'm hoping this will lower my bike enough to plant my feet on the ground a little more comfortably. Thanks.

If memory serves me right, I think the stock length of the rear shocks is 12 1/2". Less than an inch shouldnt affect stance or travel too much. Bare in mine that your lean angle will be slightly reduced as well...
Depending on your bike's miles, the stockers may need to be replaced anyways, since they're junk and wear out relatively quickly. Enjoy the ride.
