Default Heeeelllllllllllllpppppppppp

I want to take apart my right swith housing and(front brake side)

they say you just pull apart,but,,dont work....the front right side

of the cover wont move..took a screw driver,,,nothing....i dont want to

break anything...tryed sliding nothing...thanks for your time

Did you take off the front brake? If you don't remove the front brake the switch housing won't come apart, had mine off yesterday to change the handgrips.

Did you get all the screws...even the one on the bottom?

And DON'T neglect this step from the instructions Rene posted:

Do not remove or install the master cylinder assembly
without first positioning a 5/32-inch (4 mm) thick insert
between the brake lever and lever bracket. Removing or
installing the master cylinder assembly without the insert
in place may result in damage to the rubber boot and
plunger on the front stoplight switch. (00324a)

...on the sheet they dont talk about

taking the front brake out..weird...thats why it doesnt come out...i will

try that...by taking the lever out will it hurts the master

What sheet are you referring to? When you look at page 2 in the sheet a posted, you'll find the text Taddeoeg is refering to.........

yeah...been there done that, definitely follow that
