put on a k&n stock filter,noticed that the regular harley filter was sucked in on the top, bike has 1700 miles on it.would that filter break down that fast ? or is the air flow that restricted.
Replaced the original stock a/c with a Crossbones unit about a month ago. Stocker had 6600 miles on it and looked perfect. You must have had a bad unit or someone damaged it on install.
When I took mine off there was a section that looked like somebody pushed it in. I just figured it was a weak paper filter and somebody just pushed it in.
I put my sucker on and forgot about it.
