I dunno why they wouldnt offer an all black version straight from the factory...I think they would sell alot more? especially with alot of bikes that come with alot of black already factory... How loud are these compared to like the thunderheader and Fat Cat???? WHich of those 3 do you think is loudest?
Yeah I am thinking about Jumping at it... He said he could beat the price i found on the internet in another place... what better deal can ya find if you have done your research and he gets you a better price...

Pipes Description
" The Cross-Back is one wickedly cool set of twisted-up custom pipes and its genuine Rinehart. That means theres power and performance galore to go with this custom-cool look. And in a first from Rinehart and Drag Specialties, the exclusive source for all this, these pipes come supplied with two sets of baffles packed in the box. Optimum performance is assured in every application. There are 2-inch OD baffles for use with engines up to 96 cubic inches and theres a set of 2 1/4-inch baffles also supplied for when the Cross-Backs are going on larger displacement engines or heavily modified 95s. This interchangeable baffle option is something brand-new from Rinehart Racing and Drag Specialties. One set of pipes comes with two sets of baffles to suit all applications and installations.
And the options dont stop there. Two more baffle sets are offered for the Cross-Back, both so new theyre not even listed in the catalog. Motorcycle exhaust noise has become a hot-button issue and Rinehart by Bub has responded with two more sets of accessory Quiet Baffles for the Cross-Backs. The Quiet Baffles effectively cut the sound without cutting power or any of that signature Rinehart tone. Its the best of both worlds. There are separate part numbers for these optional Quiet Baffles. For the Flush Model Cross-Back its #1861-0357 and for the Staggereds its #1861-0358.
The Cross-Back 2-into-2 is offered in two styles and two finishes for all the applications, Softail, Dyna and XL. There are Flush- and Staggered Tip styles and theres a choice of chrome headers, heat shields and mufflers matched with black anodized end caps or you can get black headers and mufflers accented with chrome heat shields and end caps. Either way those 2 1/2-inch mufflers merge flush with the heat shields for a smooth, unbroken look port to tip. Its exactly the sort of quality and attention to detail youd expect from Rinehart Racing by Bub. As a final touch the Rinehart Racing logo is laser-cut into the front heat shield.
Like every Rinehart Racing exhaust the Cross-Backs can significantly increase torque and horsepower across the board, and sound great doing it. The Cross-Back 2-into-2 features that Rinehart Racing three-step header design, a power-producing technique others have copied but never duplicated. Of course the Cross-Back comes with all required mounting hardware and brackets, and to make installation simple on the 06 and later bikes with their closed-loop FI systems and oxygen sensors there are O2 sensor ports right there in the required locations."
you like the sound of these HDDyna??? I want something thats louder then the stock muffler with the baffles punched out... I want to be able to ride on the freeway and be able to hear my motor and pipes... I cant now due to the wind being louder for the most part... I Ride with a few buddies with vance and hines big radius... and they are running no baffles and they are pretty loud... I want something comparable to that but do not wanna be the copy cat and i dont really like the look of the V&H BR anyway...
Yeah I am thinking about Jumping at it... He said he could beat the price i found on the internet in another place... what better deal can ya find if you have done your research and he gets you a better price...
I've had the CB staggared chrome on my dyna (forward controls) for three months now and couldn't be happier. I bought them from Dennis Kirk for $450.00 or so. They are louder than the V&H BR's and sideshots on my buddies' bikes. They really woke it up too. Plus they came with larger baffles incase i go with a bigger bore later on. Like I said "Couldn't be happier".
