I have them on my bike and I don't have any issues with loss of power they are loud I can hear mine at higher speeds.

They are all black under the heat shields you could not install them and have them wrapped if that's the look your looking for

For the folks asking if they work on mid controls, the answer is NO. Also make sure the ones you order are for 2005 and older or 2006 and newer depending on your bike. They will NOT cross fit. Here is a link of what they sound like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO9b7PlNivA
The only time I find them too loud is when the windshield is installed and cruising speed starts to approach 80MPH.

No, that was a closeout on their old pipes. They are all long since gone. They are a little bit more expensive now.
