Bob- I tried to get one to fit my Dyna years ago but they didn't have any 49mm clamps to mount it with. I almost ordered it anyway and wanted to mount it with Harley's quick release clamps. So my question is does it have 49mm clamps included ? Thanks

Ya most the old posts I read talked about them not having mounts for 49mm tubes.
The clamps provided fit several different size tubes. They provide rubber 3m strips in different thickness's that you put on the inside to fit your down tubes. They provide a chart of which strips you need for 49mm tubes. These strips make them fit and also protect the tubes from metal to metal contact.
All you guys thinking of buying one might wait a couple days to save a few bucks. I have a history of buying and selling shields (6 different shields so far). I am happy with this so far but if I dont fall in love with its effectiveness i sell it and wear my full face helmet. LOL
O.K. I'll wait for your eval and to decide if it's for you or not.
Thanks for the information.
I'm not sure it's my idea for a shield either. Just post your outcome from adjusting and how you feel about it so others of us can at least learn from your experience.
I was able to finish getting it adjusted today and it works pretty good. Like I said before its not like having a windshield on but it does reduce the push to the chest and also the helmet lift.
Once you get over 75 MPH or so it really doesnt do much anymore so if looking for some help on the interstate its probally not for you. It doesnt cause any issues at those speeds it just doesnt feel like its doing much. It works well up to 65, so if looking for a little relief when cruising the back highways it maybe for you.
I took it off after I got it adjusted so I could feel the difference again without it and you could feel the difference. So now is the real test as it sits in my garage. Will I put it back on the bike or not. I really like the looks without it, so we will see LOL
Were any of the previous 6 shields a wind vest? If yes what did you not like about it. I am looking for a minimal shield that allows me to wear an open face helmet and glasses on the highways. I also do not like the wind on my chest for the longer rides.
