I thought the non WG and FB front ends, 06 and up, were now considered mid-glides, not narrow glides. Narrow's would be the older models with smaller forks right?

Yes. All Sportsters are narrow glides with 39 mm forks and some older Dyna's too. From 06 and up the narrow was dropped and all Dyna's are mid glides and up now, but I'm not sure what year they went to 49 mm forks. I know my 10 FXDC has the 49's. The wide glide model has the wide glide front and I believe one other Dyna has a wide glide front also. I don't know if the wide glide forks are 41 or 49 mm.
I am still a bit confused. So fork diameter (39mm, 41mm, 49mm) is not necessary related to wide glide, mid glide, etc. So which bikes are wide glide and which are not? Is the Fat Bob a wide glide?

You got it. But I'm not sure what size the forks are on all the newer Dyna's. I know they are 41 mm and up, and the Dyna-C has 49's and is a mid glide.
The '06 and later Dyna's are all 49mm fork tubes. The Wide Glide and Fat Bob have wider trees than the rest of the Dyna's. The rest of the '06 and later Dyna's (FXD, FXDC, FXDL, and FXDB) are considered mid-glides.
I'm confused too. Mine's an '07, and according to the serial number break out in my owners manual, mine is what the book refers to as a Mid Low Super Dyna Glide. And I have the 49 meter tubes on mine too. Should we contact MoFoCo about come clarification on this? Or perhaps form a sub committee to check in with our Dyna Confusion committee about it in a meeting first thing Monday morning? No one wants to mess with it on Good Friday anyway, right? We're too busy drinkin' -n- partyin' then!! Woo hoo!!!!
So here is the brake down:
All 06+ dynas have 49mm fork tubes
FXD, FXDC, FXDB all have 0 degree rake Mid glide triple trees
FXDL has 1.5 degree rake Mid glide triple trees
FXDF has 0 degree rake Wide glide triple trees
FXDWG has 2 degree rake Wide glide triple trees and additional 3 degree raked frame.

34* in the frame...2* in the tree = 36* total rake.
Here's a couple of before and after photos, (06 and up) Mid Glide/Wide Glide. Last photo below, left to right, Wide Glide, Narrow Glide, Mid Glide (06 and up Dyna's).
