Its a tight fit when youre putting it in, but it is well, well worth it. The difference in your bike is immediate. FuelMoto is a good company to work with.
Make sure you strap it in good, one of the ends on the plug in to the stock ecm was rubbing on my cooling fins, buddy of mine saw it when we pulled up at a poker run, i zip tied it and "stuffed' it in a better spot under the seat on the spot.
What pipes and breather are you running? Looks like vance and hines shorts in the background in your photo?
Just like the other guys have said be patient. You are supplied with a pretty good amount of zip ties, use them. Also, once I moved all the extra wired out of the way under the seat I zip tied them together and zip tied them out the way. I had to put it in and take it out a couple of times so that could maximize the limited amount of space available. Let us know how it works out for you.
for sure on taking out the battery. i seem to have a little bit of decel popping also gonna have to call them for a new map but other wise bike screams like a raped ape

Thanks man, I happen to like 'em as well lol
I don't dislike the sound from the short shots but would love if the pc-v helped deepen them a little. Probably going with some bct baffles next anyway.
Its NOT a hard install. Take your time, and even if your only borderline proficient at working on your bike it'll only take you about 30 min. I did mine start to finish in about that time and the toughest part was moving all of the excess wire and plugs under the seat around to fit the commander and extra harness slack under the seat.
This is my first bike/harley so I'm learning as I go but I'm pretty adept with wrenching and/or figuring stuff out.
Hopefully it'll be here monday, can't wait
I got mine installed without too much fuss. It's a tight fit for the wires but everything will fit if you take your time and visualize where things go. When I took it out for a first ride it was like someone had flipped a switch and unleashed a bunch of bottled up HP and torque. I had some rather severe decel pop and backfire but Fuel Moto sent me a new map and cured the problem. I also used some pieces of electrical tape to cover the USB port and the other plug in holes to help keep dirt and any errant water out of the ECM.
