dyna shock

I took the top bolt off of my shock on the street bob last night, no I wasn't drinking. Now after I jacked the bike up, the bolt won't line back up. What can I do? Should I just admit that I'm a dumb*@! and take it in to the dealership?

I'm guessing you removed a bolt from one side. Remove the bolt from the other side, then jack the bike up a little higher until both line up.

I think you should crak a cold one.... you'll figure it out after you've had a few.

I took mine out last week...the bike was jacked up. I didn't have any issue putting it back in. You have to move the shock around to line the bolt up. It's not rocket science.
