feel ya pain
2 drops for me
1. on the stupid cell phone in garage bike not running
doin somethin lost control foot peg landed in me sak O U C H !!!
2.parked on a off ramp puttin somethin back in saddlebag
bike fell over and was held up by the star (cruise control thang)
on the guard railing! it broke but 2 falls none the less
& yes i wont be doing either 1 of those anytime soon!
oh yeah scuff it & rattle can it

+2 on the scuff and rattle can method.

you should be able to cover blems in flat black with some bbq grill paint.

I dropped mine off my HF lift last summer in my garage. First time I've ever done that. Like these guys said, it makes you a better rider!

I'd be interested to know that too. Have a scuff mark on my V&H short shots I want to touch up.

I’ve managed to drop mine on each side now…..first on the left at 3 days old…..then last fall I let it go over on the right on uneven pavement.

I had scuffs not too much different than yours and I just used my Harley Black Denim touch up paint to camouflage the scrapes. I’ll look for a pic of my damage later maybe, but here’s how they look now – my damage was at the bottom bend and the tips…..



Vance and Hines will sell you the outer covers, but they aren’t cheap……just FYI
