I finally had my Progressive front fork lowering kit installed on my Street Bob,
and with the 11" 412s on the rear has given my Bob and completely different look.
Lowered the front by 2 inches. Drove it home and it felt fine.
My only problem is that I would have to freakin lean the bike waaaay to the right
just to get the jiffy stand down and the bike sits too upright now.
I don't like the short stands, so I will have my stand heated and bent a little.
I have humps on my street and it was no problem,
also no problem going up on my sidewalk to my driveway.

How's the handling, and overall rideability??
Had a chance for some miles yet??

BTW folks! I found a replacement kickstand for lowered bikes, especially if they are lowered front and back. It is from Arlen Ness, and the thing I like about them is that it looks almost like the stock one, unlike others that are straight and short like the Custom Chrome one. It's part of their lowering kit, but they do sell it separately.

A question: as for riding ergonomy with lowered shocks, are you still ok with the mid control?

First of all, I really have no choice with the mids because I am fairly short. Second, forward controls would have more chances of scraping on tight turns. It's hard to see, but I do have the adjustable highway pegs for those long trips.

kaduku, i also have 11in progressive shocks on my bob, and i have had the seat customized and lowered to fit my short26in legs. the hd dealer now tells me i should lower the front end too. what if any are the advantages and disadvantages of having this done. will it affect handling, stability, etc. thanks for any info.
