Default riding 2 up

this is directed towards dyna owners I have grown to regret gettin a 2 up seat for my wife
dont get me wrong shes a good rider doesnt complain, doesnt move around, doesnt pile a bunck a crap in the saddle bags
but the bike just doesnt respond the same way and my riding style is "SLOWED" considerbly
it sounds like Im a selfish bastard(true ) but I would like to see her get her own bike which she wants too
she took the MSF course... but she wants to buy a "rebel "or small yamaha to start out with
for like 2 months and then move up I dont want to waste the money though and told her if she wants a bike to look at
a softail deluxe or low 883 sportster (shes short like 5 ' 3") she wont ride my bmw and feels the bob is too much too handle
but knowing her she grew up riding snow moblies she quite comptent to ride a bike
the orignal plan was for her to take the bob and I would get a street gLide or road king but I LOVE THE DAMN BOB
this by the way is a good problem to have let me digress though How are your experinces riding 2 up on yer dynas

Dump the Beemer and get what you want and give her the Bob. You get a new bike and everyone's happy. If she's worried about her initial riding skills, get her a Rebel and let her hack around on that until she's comfortable. A used Rebel can't be that expensive, hell, they're only a couple of thousand new. Good Luck, hope you get the "new" bike.

Let her Ride Her Own...you'll both be happier! A 250 Rebel is a great place to start.

98 Wide Glide and I did nearly 600 miles on a weekend 2-up ride with a Corbin Dual Tour seat (pictured). Once I got her backrest dialed in, my lady had no complaints and would do it again.

Thanks for the compliment. The pic was taken at Mammoth Lakes in the Sierras, eastern California. The run was from the SF Bay Area, through Yosemite National Park, over Tioga Pass and onto Mammoth Lakes. The pics in the links below were taken later the same morning on the return run. Ellery Lake is on Tioga Pass, elevation 9,538 feet. All pics were taken July 16 of this year. It was an awesome ride!

You should look at the Buell Blast. I had one as a starter bike before I got my sporty and I loved it. My dad who is about 6' and 280ish rode it several times before I had my license. Although he looked like a gorilla riding a football.
