I think the two-tone look (red/orange) is just a trick of the light. If you look at the tank in the original post, you don't see it (if that is what you're referring to). I'll pick them up later this afternoon, so I'll know for sure then.
The battery box band was almost an afterthought. I use this handle for almost everything I do online, so I thought a little 'personalization' might be a cool addition. I managed to resist the [slight] temptation to add " @yahoo.com " in tiny print below.
8541hog : Gimme a heads up before you get here and I'll set up a great sightseeing ride with some of the local Dyna members.

Bike is still together with the [stock] white tins in place. These were one of my sets of spares. I think I'm gonna leave the whites on 'til after our Sedona ride next month; I just have too much stuff left to do for the roadtrip to add a tins swap to the list of stuff.
Patrick, I've been wanting to see your Pin-Up scheme as to see how close it will be to photo shop fun...
However I'm not sure they will ever see the bike after you get the reds on....
Outstanding...............
Wow. That's gorgeous, Patrick. Is that the same rear fender you let me borrow? Looks quite different now. You really are hardcore getting your HDF member name painted on your battery band.
