Need help/ideas with mirrors

My new mirrors
With a lot of help from my Dad I managed to get my mirrors done, I found the stems online but couldn't find any mirrors so my Dad cut the stock ones at the stem and welded in a nut so I could screw them on the new stem. A little soldering and a little paint took care of the rest.
I'm really happy with how they turned out, being new to this whole thing I wasn't sure if they would work like the stock ones but everything works fine with the exception of them functioning as marker lights.
Sorry for the crappy pic, I'll try to take some better ones once it starts getting dark, now I'm going to wash the thing because it's filthy!

I'm not entirely happy with the finish, just used some matt spray my Dad had laying around the body shop, but it's good enough for now. Down the road when I get a few more things done, I'll get all the parts together and give you a call!
If only my wallet could support my imagination...

Thank you bigdaddy33, my Dad did the real work, I just spray bombed it and wired them. I'm trying to convince him that I need a new fender so hopefully I'll get him onboard with that project when I find the money.
