I've pulled the pin and ordered the EFI Tuner from Moto. Has anyone recently installed one of these and if so, what immediate results did you notice from the performance of your bike. Mine just has a 2 into 1 pipe and a Stage 1 AC assembly. After searching these forums, lot of people say that it runs cooler, how can one tell that?
I just installed mine today. I replaced the pipes with V&H Big Radius 2-2 and SE Heavy Breather a year ago and went with the HD download... Apparently the download was a POS, because as soon as I started the bike, I could hear and feel the difference with the power commander installed. Took it for a ride, and couldn't believe the difference. It may have been better to wait and install the TTS, but I couldn't wait and went with Fuel Moto's unit. I am very glad I did.
The installation is very simple, but not easy... I have an FXDF, and there isn't a whole lot of room under the seat to do the installation. Patience and proper installation made it all worthwhile. The bike runs and sounds great!
Good luck installing yours, you won't be dissapointed.

David,
I haven't purchased one (Yet), but I followed a similar route as you...Pipes, SE Heavy Breather and a 103 download. After reading your post, I'm seriously looking onto this upgrade...
Yea, I here any of these name brand tuners or fuelers will liven up the bike for most. If get one installed that works right, there is no real seat of the pants difference. Just saying that you can spend much less money and be just as happy.
Just put one on a few weeks ago and it woke the motor up like a bucket of ice water will do to when dumped on a person who is laying on the beach asleep getting a tan.Bike runs excellent.
I put on a fuelmoto tuner after switching to a S/E Heavy breather 3 weeks agao
Before I had a set of XIED's with a stock A/C and short shots. I don't feel much of a difference between the other setup and the one I have now. But both set ups are a big difference over stock.
I do think the bike runs cooler and It sounds like it's getting tons more air. I think the short shots are not the best pipes if you are looking for true performance.
So you guys who just got the fuel moto tuner, is it truely just plug and play? They have it programmed to your setup when it arrives right? Then just follow the directions on the install and start it up? I am real close to pulling the trigger, just waiting for the wifey to give the go ahead hahahha... Im goin with the K&n Rk-3910 for the air cleaner and have big radius 2-2's on the bike already.
