Default what is it called?

i have a 2000 fxdl with the headlight cover that has an electronic display for turn signal/neutral indicator. my current handlebar setup is blocking it. i've searched on this forum and there is a member - TIMMER who's sig pic has a mount on top of his handlebars that houses this display. its exactly what i'm looking for but i can't find one online.

does anyone know where i might find one?

thanks in advance

If this is the part you are looking for with the T/S Indicator lights, oil, Neutral and what ever. It is part of the bracket for mounting the speedo/tach or just single speedo head on later model bikes.

You can find them on Ebay and just switch your speedo/tach out and unplug you wires from the headlight cover to the bracket mounted light bar.

You can also get them new from the dealer but be sure they order everything you need includinghte backing plate/plates for the gauges and the colored strip of plastic for the idot light bar.

my speedo & tach are mounted on the gas tank. i only need the mount for the indicator as shown in Timmer's signature pic. i'm not sure how to display his pic in my message but if you do a member search, you'll see it.

i tried 'handlebar mount' in ebay but its not there

Try "handlebar top clamp" in google...engage the "image" option so you can see the pictures.

is this what you're looking for?

You can always get the top clamp of your choice, and drill it for the indicator lights. It would be "custom"

Good luck....I looked for one for 6 months for my 2002 FXDL. A forum member here found one for me. I had to extend my wires, though, as they were too short after moving them from the visor.

As far as I know there are two types:

59786-06

and 67655-04

Note: there's a difference in the position of the holes for the upper clamp bolts!

idiot light relocation! that actually brought up some old threads on here which are helpful. i'm actually starting to look at led head bolts (http://www.customdynamics.com/led_button_head_bolts.htm) instead of mounting them in the top clamp. that way i might be able to get away with drilling holes between the speedo and the tach and just make sure thats watertight.

the guy in this thread did a nice job but i'm not that good with a dremmel, lol

I copy/pasted the images from one of my posts in this thread:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...-question.html

I can see them...anyone elso who can't see the images?

Right click the images and copy/paste the properties link into a new window and enter...please let me know if this doesn't work.

Ginger,

Go to User CP/Edit options and check the settings...

Now scroll down to "visible post elements" and check if you have enabled Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)
