I'd love to have a FXDX , so I'm jealous . But... lose the engine guard , it just don't belong on the X .

It must be in the air. I got a great deal on a 2000 FXDX and love it. I just came from a 1200 bobber and it is great. The wife loves it also due to alot more room. I am not digging the exhaust and am looking at the Vance & Hines short shots.

Congrats on your new ride, I'm sure you won't be disappointed because I sure wasn't. Also have a 2000 FXDX which in fact was my first HARLEY, going from SUZUKI to this. Never regretted the change.
