I made the jump and bought that 2000 FXDX I asked about last week. The thing is in incredible shape, runs like a top and I got a hell of a good price. Pics asap! Thanks for all the advice folks, I was an educated buyer which greatly helped me in the dealing.

Here's a kinda crappy pic from my phone. I already took the retarded speakers off the bars and put the stock (never used) seat back on. The Corbin that was on there was far too narrow to be comfortable. My planned mods (thus far) include changing the engine guard to a WG style and putting on some forward controls. I'm also thinking about some kind of gauge relocation/tilting because they sit completely upright due to the risers.
