Well, I have been an avid reader on this site for a long time, with only an occasional post. It is a great source for ideas. Definitely better (and cheaper) than buying a bunch of magazine. Anyway, I have seen enough ideas on here from others that I figured I would show my most recent modifications--front and rear turn signals.
The front signals are from Custom Dynamics. Definitely not cheap, but they look way better than the stock bar mounted variety.
The rear signals are from Alloy Art. Dennis Kirk sells them with a raw finish, which was perfect since they were just going to get powder coated anyway.
Looks great! How are they for the cage driver's visibility?
I'm going to have to measure from on my bike from where they mount up. Riding on base I have to get safety inspections where they pull out the ruler and make sure your signals are legal for California.
Here is a link that shows the turn signals flashing. It's tough to say how bright they really are during the day, but they are definitely very visible in low light conditions.
I've only got a 1 question before ordering both front and back for the glide. Do you know if the rear can also serve as marker/brake lights? Great mod man! looks sick!
