1.Go over the entire bike with a wrench and tighten every fastener you can get your tools on.
2. re-torque all critical fasteners
3. check your belt tension
4. inspect & tighten all 3 engine mounts
5. visually inspect rear tire alignment
6. Drain trans oil and check for metal on drain plug magnet. Refill with 85w140 or higher gear oil. (if you get metal filings or chunks save and take to dealer immediately) Save used trans oil in a clean and sealed container in case you need to have it analyzed to prove there is excessive wear metals in it. There can be no other liquids or solids in this container as it must be spotless and dry. Seal it immediately.
7. If you get metal chunks on the magnet go to Blackstone Labs website and order a test kit and have the used trans oil analyzed and take the report to the dealer. If there is a bearing or bushing coming apart in your trans it will show up in the oil analysis.
The above is good advice. If there was in fact something wrong with the transmission itself, then conceivably you might be able to replicate this pulsing vibration in gears 1-4, since these gears share the same mainshaft, or I suppose something could be off with just the 4th gear itself. Either way, getting inside will be expensive diagnostics, so eliminate the easy stuff first.

Do all of this before your warranty expires.
Do what he said, that's very good advice. Only thing I can add to that is from what you are telling us it sounds like it's something in the 4th gear itself. Sorry I cant be of more help...keep us up-dated.

Did you read all the posts? And wouldn't what you say apply to all FXDs that these particular mounts are fitted to, not just FXDBs?
CB
yes. it's usually the front motor mount.
dynas vibrate more than other models.
it just is.
It's a tractor motor in a motorcycle, it's going to vibrate.
check the front motor mount.
Guess this guy never rode and EVO or a Shovel?? hahahahahahaha
oh and BTW, I've seen the motor mounts more on FXDB's and Lowriders
than FXD's or WG's.
But that's what I've seen in another area it could be different.

Not being a wise-****, but it's a two cylinder radial aircraft engine in a motorcycle frame.
Both rods on one crank pin. On some of the WWII fighter aircraft (P-47, Hellcat, F4 Corsair) they had two rows with nine pistons each on one crank pin. Imagine the vibrations out of those monsters.
