Just take off the rocker assy to get them out..
These lifters have something like 20thou play so they will adjust accordinly..

If you're pulling the rockers to reuse the push rods that head gasket isn't too far away, a .030 will give you about .25:1 more compression. I know it isn't much but every little bit helps.
I already had that in mind.

Contemplated that. I also found a -10* to +10* adjustable timing gear at hendrickperformance.com But it's $300 bucks. Way out of my price range at this point.

As far as that, Wire...this will be my first real tear into a v-twin. I think I understand what you're saying but not 100%.
Neither, go to fuelmoto, they have a fairly easy process to request a map, just visit their web site.
