Default O2 Sensors

Question: After you perform a stage 1 (PCV in this case). Is it normal practice OR a big fat NO NO to remove the O2 Senors from the pipes and replace them with bung plugs? In North Carolina we do not have emmisions inspection on motorcycles, at least they did not do one on mine.

When I installed my PC-V I just left the O-2 sensors installed and used the supplied plugs to cap off the ECM connections. Instructions say you can remove them and install plugs but that seemed like unnecessary work for me.

Leave them in. If you ever go with the auto tune with the PCV you'll need them.

Check out
http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/hd2007HD_heat_00.htm.
I built a jumper for mine before any upgrades were preformed and all it required was the plugs from two sensors, two 330 ohm resistors, and some heat shrink. I soldered the resistors in to the remaining wire from the plugs and attached it to the plugs on the bike.

Yep, just more work taking em out, and they aren't gonna hurt anything just hanging out for the ride, disconnected.
