Hello all...new to the forum and first time posting...I'm looking to buy my first Dyna and I've found an 01 Dyna with only 17k miles. It also has these upgrades street slammer bars, Vance and Hines Pipes (longshots), Screamin Eagle slip-ons, 21" front tire, bad lander seat, and Ikuni Carb. The seller is asking $7300...I went and looked at the bike today and it's very clean.
What I'm trying to decided is if it's worth paying more money to get a newer bike...what are your guys thoughts on older bikes?
I also just want to say what a pleasure it is reading this forum, everyone is so helpful and there doesn't seem to be any egos that you find on other forums...Look forward to learning from everyone here.
I think it depends on how much experience you have. You don't want to put down a whole bunch of money on a bike if you're just learning to ride. I would say an 01 isn't that old anyway. Welcome to the forum.
That's a good price on a great bike. You could spend more on a newer model but it doesn't mean your getting a "better" bike. An '01 or '02 Dyna would make a great first Harley for you.
JaysonL is right , but heads up boys the world economy is snapping back sooner than was originally predicted. Which cannot be a totally bad thing right.
