Ive been working on my Street Bob for a few months and couldnt decide how far to take it. I ended up cutting the rear struts and reshaping the rear fender. The bike was originally gloss black and I painted it to flat black. Let me know what you think.
Im running a set of Roland Sands bars and grips. I relocated the stock rear turn signals to the top of the shocks and set them up as run/brake/stop lights. I swapped the original front signals for a liight bar under the triple tree. The rear shocks are the Burle slammers.
I did all of the work in my garage, including the paint.
vey nice looking bike, I am doing mostly the same, my bike is vivid black and I think denim black is the way to go. Did you use the the Oem paint r something else. other things I am planning is double front disc and a bit fatter front tire. I will post pictures when I am ready
agn nice look
Are these chopped bobs coming from the factory now?? Just kidding it's good trend going on right now I like it!! One of these days I may see one in person!!
I don't know about the lack of a fender on the rear. If you get caught in the rain, you will get beat by spray coming from the rear tire, and street water is nasty stuff.
Other than that, the bike looks great.
The bottom line is, IT'S YOUR BIKE! IF IT MAKES YOU HAPPY, FTW! lmao.
really great looking bike , but you know saying it's 'finally finished' is like throwing a red flag in front of a bull ...
#1... lose the front fender , you're already going to get so wet in the rain that it won't make any more difference
#2... 21" front wheel
#3... smaller air cleaner cover , show off that blacked out motor !
#4... small tank lift , 1/2" or 1" , just to give a more aggressive stance to the bike
#5... draw a line following the curve of the back of your seat . cut off the fender following that line , will look more finished than the straight line you have now
there ya go , 5 suggestions , and you thought you were finished
