The newer beehive springs can handle .575 lift, The SE 255's are .550. I have the 37's and they were .510 but I put in the SE 1.725 rockers for a .541 lift. I think you're going too far with the 4* advance, .030HG and .040 off the head. It would be a Ping monster.
Do you guys think I can run the stock tune for now and then go to the TTS and air intake and T-header later. YAHYAH I now Im not going to get 100 tq, but at least the engine would be ready for it.
Using the stock tune would completely defeat the purpose of changing the cams and the stock tune is already lean.
Read my sig...my motor is totally stock except for the cams....well over 100 with my setup and a good dynotune from Joes Cycle. You definitely need an intake, exhaust and some sort of tuner to make the cams make any difference though.

HOLY CRAP!
I'm impressed and here I was thinking I'd need good head work to get those type of numbers with my, so I've been told, low number producing Rinehart 2-1! Good job, do you have the dyno sheet?

NO! You need an intake/filter setup and some sort of way to adjust your AFR. Stock tune will not work!
Sounds like you have your cart in front of your horse. Buy your air cleaner, exhaust and figure out how you are going to tune it. Then start shopping for cams.

Stock springs handle that cam?? I was going to go with the wood 7 but didnt know if the stock springs could handle it? You know, what the hell if Im going to pull the head I might as well replace the v-springs myself.
Would it be to much to ask for a video of it running to hear how the engine sounds at idle, I would like a little loope to the engine. Plus was wandering how it sounds with that +4 advance in there.
That +4 is really helping you I just did the math and it looks like you only lost 5 psi of cranking psi and only .18 compression.
How is throttle response? Hows cruising to roll on full?
I hear all you saying to get the tunner, so well my next purchase will be the tunner. Im going with the TTS. Then I'll get the True track. Or vise versa. This will set a good foundation for the engine build. Then go for the intake and exhaust.
Thanks for all you guys help. I do appreciate it.

Heres the dyno sheet. Even without the cams I was around 94 lbs of torque and 79 hp. As you can see the power does come in above 2500 but it shoots right up from there. Its a blast to ride. The first sheet has without cams run (Red) and with (Blue), second is 2 runs with the cams.
