Default Will this work?

I have a set of trees from HD part # 45748-01A These are listed as the skull and groove trees.. by HD. In the catalog it states that these trees reduce the rake by 1.5 DEG.. Thats odd considering that stock trees on a FXDWG have this angle of rake built into them.. Anyhow, I have a complete front end off of a 03 deuce. I am going to be using the forks from this front end, on a 03 Superglide.. My questions are as follows. 1( If I run the skull and groove trees I am assuming that the forks from the deuce will work, will I have to get shorter tubes.. due to the less angle in the neck; 03 SG has 28 DEG in the neck.. I do have a progressive spring kit that will allow me to drop the front end up to 2"....
2( I would like to have the extra 1.5 Deg of rake as the SG looks really short in length IMHO.. Does HD sell the trees in chrome with the rake built in.. as of now I have not been able to find anything stating otherwise...)
3) With the O Deg Skull trees I am assuming that other than the 21" wheel in the front my trail will remain close to stock. Will I have to drop the rear 1" and if not will I still be able to drop the rear as with the WG front and 21 a drop in the rear would look pretty good.. Kinda like a kicked dog..lol .. I would like to keep performance and pretty much make this a direct bolt on.. I really need some help here as I have read so many threads ; I think I have done more to confuse myself that to figure all this out.. Thank you all for your help..

You REALLY have to break this mass of questions down into something less confusing.

I have an 03 Superglide with a 39mm front end that I want to convert to a 41mm aka wide glide front. This is a list of the parts that I plan on using to do this...1) A set of triple trees HD part # 45748-01A HD says these have 1.5 deg reduced in the trees, it also says they will work on a WG with adding an internal fork stop kit. They are called Skull and groove not that that matters..
2) Complete front end from an 03 Duece, consisting of sliders, wheel and spacers, tubes...etc
3) A set of Lower sliders off a 01 Fxdwg..
4) A progressive lowering spring kit for WG up to 2"
My questions are. Will the triple trees listed HD part # 45748-01A.. the fork tubes, and sliders from the 03 Duece, work together to do this conversion. If the duece sliders wont work, I am assuming the WG will.
2) I also wanted to know since that the 03 SG has only 28 deg of rake in the neck will I have to get different tubes, the reason I am asking this is that the duece has a different rake in the neck making the tubes longer. If I am right the conversion would lift the front end of the bike a bit. From what I have read the progressive spring kit will correct this issue as long as I dont need new tubes..
3) With this conversion being done. My concern is the effect on trail.. Will I need to drop the rear at all?
4) If I do lower the rear I am concerned about bottoming out.. the roads here in Michigan are pretty rough due to potholes and such.. I ride 2up quite often so I also need to be aware of this.. I am sorry this is so long and

deuce sliders will work. The 1.5 deg rake is a stock rake in the wideglide trees. Thus the skull trees will be zero deg rake and like what you have now. You do not need to lower the rear although you can. 1.5 deg is not much rake and it really does not give a longer look to the front with a 2" suspension drop. IMHO, run the trees you like best.
