Yes, cute, little, and relatively slow, bikes. Compared to my Valkyrie, or any number of other bikes out there, my 2010 Super Glide can't get out of its own way....but it is a lot of fun!
i guess you had better take it back and let them check it out. my custom is in no way slow. if i had wanted to go faster than i do now i would have gotten a crotch scratcher. lol. yeah my opinion of the auto world is not the greatest. i drive a truck and beleive me the things they do to me in the truck are the same things they do to me on the bike. in the truck i'll probably win the encounter. on the bike maybe not. lol

Finally got to take my bike to the dealer and this is what they found. Turns out, what I thought was a knock, was actually a slap. It was the chain slapping on the inside of the case because the automatic tension adjuster wasn't getting the chain tight enough. They said that it was no big deal and that they see this probably twice a week. They went in an manually adjusted the tension and said that the automatic tension adjuster should do it's job from here on out. Thanks for all your input.
I got it at Cowboys Alamo City off of Ih 35 and weidner rd. We should get together and ride sometime. I went out to Luckenbach for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and man what a sweet ride!
Got mine from the same dealership. I'm telling you that was the BEST sales experience I've had. Paul was my salesman.
I've owned all kinds of bikes through my life (BMW's, sport bikes, dirtbikes, hell, even a Vespa) but never owned a Harley or even wanted to. Thought I might like to get a Sportster and called the dealership to "Come out and sit on some used Sportsters, cause I'm going to buy one on Craigslist" they said "sure" - two weeks later I walked out with the 2010 Fatbob. Fantastic bike. Just about ready to take it in for the 1000 mile service. Just bought the Rinehart 2 into 1 and an Arlen Ness Big Sucker to have the Stage 1 installed at the 1000 mile service.
Although, I do think they could do a better job prepping the bikes - I brought mine back an hour after rolling off the lot to have the throttle adjusted. I will say though, I happened to be at the dealership a week after I bought the bike and mentioned that the front forks sounded and felt like they had gravel in them - I said I'd have them checked at the 1000 mile. Paul said "Nope", he talked to service and they took it right in, test rode it, re-torqued the steering head nut and brought it back out to me in 25 minutes. I like that dealership.
You're going to love the bike - I've been impressed so far.
