I've got a 2010 Fat Bob and just started riding after I got my license on Monday. Went on about a 200 mile trip to Luckenbach, TX yesterday and today I hear this knocking from the primary when I started my bike. It's very faint and as soon as I get the bike in gear it goes away. I guess I'll take it to the dealer tomorrow. I hope it's nothing because I'll really miss my bike if it has to go in for warranty work.
When i bought my first Harley in 92 the same day i thought it was going to explode , their noisy machines, there is probably nothing wrong with it but i would take it back or have a friend you know who rides an H.D. give it a listen
Yes, cute, little, and relatively slow, bikes. Compared to my Valkyrie, or any number of other bikes out there, my 2010 Super Glide can't get out of its own way....but it is a lot of fun!
I don't know about everyone else, but virtually all the Dyna's of recent vintage, exceed the typical speed limit, outrun most cars from standing start, and can go fastest enough to offer the opportunity to kill oneself. If you want to go racing, buy a race bike and do it on the track in a professional manner. The general auto population already hold most motorcycles in an unfavorable light, why should we add to that?

When I start worrying about the 'general auto population's' opinion regarding motorcycles it will be time for me to stop riding. They ought to worry about my opinion of them, and believe me, it ain't favorable!
