#1) She bought a P.O.S. Honda Nighthawk 250 and started learning to ride. In six months, she put 107 miles on it. All but about three feet of this was done riding the roads in our subdivision. The remaining three feet was done in the air as she hit a curb and flew over the handle bars. If I could just figure out a way to get her *** in that position in a bedroom setting.
#2) She had wanted to find something we could do to spend more quality time together and was thinking of taking up golf. Her acquisition of a motorcycle replaced that thought and works well cause I can't her her bitchin' when she's on the motorcycle.
#3) We have both discussed the inherent dangers associated with motorcycle riding and made a pact with each other. If something ever happens to one of us while riding, the other of us will hold no regrets. What ever happens, it will be while doing something we truly love.
#1) +1 LOL
#2) Just one of the many benefits...
#3) That's pretty cool right there... You guys have thought it out and that's a great approach... We have to live life with NO Regrets...
I don't know, and don't get me wrong, I'm not knockin the Sporties, lord knows I've seen em, and man they're slammin rides, But if you're gonna do some riding, wouldn't it be feasible to get a larger bike. In the Dyna category. If her reach is the issue they sell seats that help in that category.
My wife can buy any Harley models she wants, and she did.
If comfort becomes an issue, I am sure she will be back in the market.
i trates the way it looks, lol. ied to get my wife into the sporty but she hates the way it looks, lol. So i got her a little rebel 250 that she scoots around on now.
Sometimes I actually prefer riding alone. I know my man would be upset with this, but I always lead and sometimes get frustrated with worrying about what's going on behind me, whether he's keeping up, making sure I stop at lights and not lose him, etc.
I have one of her on her old Vulcan. Not one on her S.B. But here is a pic of her on her old Vulcan, and of her new S.B. Look in mine or her (skittles12) profile for more of her bike.
Congratulations to your wife, and to you for being so proud!
I'm a wife who rides her own. Hubby had mixed emotions in the beginning. Had a real hard time letting me ride by myself anywhere. After I become more confident and was ready to "fly solo", I eased him into "letting" me go first on short runs, then a little longer. I'm in my 6th riding season and just the other day at a party he was beaming when people found I ride my own, and saying how he is SO happy I do!
