Pretty much what I was thinking,I think I'll go with the complete system. Spend the money once. Just the slip-ons are too easy of an answer. Thanks for all the input.
Also,Bikerhaven has gooood prices, but didn't have what I was looking for.
Westendmotorsports looks to have fair prices on the BUB system I'm thinking I want.
THANKS AGAIN.
HSB,if I drill out the rivets near the end of the stock mufflers will the baffles slide out? If they do,can I just drill the 1/2" hole in the closed end of the baffle and slide it back in the muffler body? If not,do I remove the complete muffler and drill from the end, with the baffle remaining in the muffler body? thanks.

No need to drill out any rivets on the rear....
Once you have pulled the mufflers off the bike, on the inlet side of the muffler about 8'' or so in look with a flashlight you will see what appears to be a flat part it is the 'Plug"... When I did mine I when down to the local hardware store and bought a 12'' 3/8'' drill bit and drilled a hole in the center of the plug, then I used a drift to enlarge the hole to 1/2'' reinstall and your good to go.... Sounds better than stock

To drill the 1/2" hole he's talking about you need a 12" long 1/2" bit or a regular 1/2" bit and a 6" extension. No need to drill the rivets. Just pull the mufflers, stand them upright and drill right through. The disc in the muffler is real thin. I've been running drilled stock pipes for about 6 months now and probably will for awhile longer. More important things for my fundage right now.
I have to agree with HSB .... if money is an issue, take your time and decide what you want and spend it once. I went with the SE slip-ons initially and they were okay but not what I was looking for ... I was lucky and able to sell my slip-ons for close to what I paid for them. IMHO, full exhaust is the way to go (along with aircleaner & fuel contoller) and if you don't have the cash now wait until you do .... regardless, you still have a cool ride!

Hey Bro, if your going to spend $200.00 for slip ons, spend another $ 100.00 and get the RUSH short full system for around $300.00, and that way your getting rid of the cats in the head pipes, this will wake up that bike.
