Well I purchased some 16' Burly Narrow Apes, and have been digging threw the old post for what length cables/lines and wire extensions and its quite confusing project figuring the proper ones, or Im making it so. The work itself is no problem though. Any input that anyone could provide would be great. The bike is a 2008 FXD.
Thanks
For 16" Burly's narrows I used 74" Clutch cable, 54" Brake line, 39.5" throttle and Idle purchased from Hill Country Customs. Namz 8" Wire extension kit. It was not too hard, just time consuming, remove the tank and it will make it alot easier, SC Longhair has a video showing you how to take apart the wire connectors, I also did the turn signal relocation kit for my street bob.

I installed the Khrome Werks 16" fat ape hangers and ordered the kit for 16" bars from Hill Country off ebay. The bars are more of a narrow style and everything fit perfectly. They really took the guess work out of it all. I don't recall the wire extension I used, but it was easy as well. I had to look around a little bit on their ebay store, but they shipped fast, were priced right and everything was there. Hope that helps.
I've used HCCC setup twice. The price is right and it looks good. I also dealt with their customer service and I'll say that the one time I did, the rep told me he had to call me back within 30min to check physical inventory. You guessed it...he ACTUALLY called back within 30min. I did praise him for that and said it meant a lot that he kept his word.
I would opt for a different brand clutch cable though. Mine discolored within a year. Looked horrible. Not their (hccc) fault though. The throttle/brake lines look as good as the day I installed. I believe the clutch cable was from Drag Specialties.
Thanks for the input everybody. I'd do a mock up if I didnt ride everyday , my bike is my main mode of transportaion. I guess I'll probably go wtih HCC's kit if they will ever answer me back. There phone skills might be good but email is not so far. LOL
