Default kickstand help needed

Anyone know how that little c shaped rubber piece that protects the frame from the kickstand is supposed to mount? Does the opening face away from the kickstand side of the bike? and does the larger part of it go on the top of the frame or the bottom, hope you can figure out what I'm asking. Mine came off when I unloaded the bike and I just figured out what the hell it's for by reading another unrelated post (thank you HD Forum) I bought my bob months ago it finally gets here and now I can't buy a sunny day which is pretty normal for Germany. I've gotten drenched just about every time I have ridden it, but on the bright side I'm getting real good at cleaning it.

I remember those days in Germany, but when the sun does come out, you have some beautiful riding over there.

Yeah, the big part goes towards the bottom. If you can block the bike so it stands straight up,you can move the kickstand and adjust the rubber where it fits best.

Thanks, made sense that it would go that way but wanted to be sure, got down under the bike and was wondering what will make contact with the road first. Anyone leaned it over a bit too far yet?
