Default SwitchBlades

I've had mine for over a year likem but thinking of going with some Airfoils or something a little more sturdy. They do loosen up once in a while but I always have my 1/4 inch allen handy in my tool kit.

I had the switch Blades on my 04 1200 C sporty. loved them but could not keep them tight in place.
Yup tried the Lock tite thing. Sold them to my buddy , but used a Never dry Marine gasket sealer from Merc. Worked better. While I enjoyed there heal rest feature, think they need work.
My 07 FXDWG has there ISO pegs. just kick my heals over the ends when in the mood. No problem

I've had a set for two years and never had a problem. I did take them apart when I got them to have them powdercoated black. When I reassembled them I used Loctite. I haven't used the fold out rest yet either, I just wanted them for the flatter peg and thought I someday I might want the rest on a long ride.

I have the flame switchblades. when I first put em on I couldn't keep em from falling apart every 4-500 miles or so. Tried blue loctite but still came loose. Finally used red and now they don't come loose. They are very comfortable pegs but won"t buy em again. Only use the heel rest on the highway. If ya don't fold them in when ya hit the twisties, the scrape real easy!
