Is anyone running the QBL 1845 baffles in their Big Radius? Did it make much of a change in the sound? Quieter? Lower/Deeper Tone?

I have had them in my 05 WG for the past 4 years. Wouldn't trade them for anything else. I think the sound is great. They can be quiet when you need them to be. Well quiet might be loosely defined here but, the tone is lower. I can't speak about additional torque....I would think that anyone who claims to......well that might be a state of mind.

I put a set of big radius on my fatbob a month ago. What I did was take out the original baffles and installed a set of QQ big city baffles as far as I could into the exhaust pipes up against the header pipes. Then I took the V&H baffles and cut off enough so I could stack them against the QQs as per advice from V&H. They sound good. I think I lost a little torque with this settup. I had Rush slipons 1.75s, but a quick call to Jamie at Fuelmoto and he emailed me a new map for my PC-v and all is good. No question the sound is a two pipes tone versus the stock header and slipons. I am fairly sure the before sound clip was with no baffles, my pipes sound identical to the after sound clip with stock V&H baffles. But you-tube clips are terrible for judging true sound.Originally Posted by cmiller1014
