Riding England.........
We've now sorted the video editing for the HD helmet cam. Thanks to a new quad core super computer we can now edit the vids we shoot, and also sorted out the aspect ratio of the vids. The original vid I posted a few weeks back was never quite right as the aspect ratio on that was wrong due to to a mistake in the editing - but hey, that's why we test things out! That vid was also shot in quite a low resloution.
We've now edited some of the first vids we shot soon after buying the camera, these were in 1080p HD. They were edited as 720p vids (not many people can play anything above that on their computers as yet. My own computer won't play it above 420p but even at that quality it's really quite good. We need to sort out the colour saturation and contrast but that will be done in camera. One thing we will be needing is some decent editing software (any suggestions?). Windows Live Movie Maker ain't that good really - quite limited as to what can be done with it.
Anyway - once again, apologies for the boring vid content, but these are just test vids to get everything right before the bike trip in Canada in July, so if some of you could let us have some feedback as to whether the vid is "jumping" and at what resolution you can play it best at it would be appreciated. We're thinking we may have to shoot in 720 res if we're going to upload the vids to You Tube
