Love it also but it is three times the cost of a Wix.

True, but then I paid 15k for a bike, $15.00 every 2 months or so for a filter is nothing... I don't skimp on her and she don't leave me stranded....LOL

I have been running the Bosch 3330 filter for the last 100,000 miles between two bikes. High quality filter that you can find just about anywhere.

Hey, so is it just so much BS what the Harley says about their filter having a bypass that operates during start up to provide instant lube to all the bearings etc? Does the Wix and others have the bypass also?

I'm going with amsoil's filter since I am now a preferred customer and they ship 'em right in the case for me.

It's not a bypass but a seal which keeps oil from completely dripping into the pan so there is no lapse from start up to full oil pressure. My amsoil fi;lter has that.

I use Milwaukee's Best aka The Beast. It's cheap and tastes awful but man does it filter out crap in your system... oh and the bike's too.
