Am I crazy or does this thing really not have a way to KEEP it on the bike? Every since I took it off it acts like it doesnt want to stay on. I guess the 2 fake screws are supposed to cause the 2 pins to separate enough to hold it on?
I dont know but I think it's a fail whatever the goal was.
HUH? the cover has two posts that go into the back of the box inside rubber grommets that holds it in place. I don't see any problem the rubber holds the cover on very tightly in my case. Maybe you need to have something replaced (warranty issue).
Are you getting it on all the way ...? The longer side faces forward so the two allen-head screws are at the rear of the box ... no problems with mine either ... the rubber grommets hold mine securely ....
The inner portion of the box is attached pretty securely in three places ... two screws attach it to the frame above (seat support) and one screws through the middle of the box attaching it to the frame ....
I guess I just assumed something more held it in place. When I took it off I assumed the allen head screws were holding it there. it wasnt until I went to put it back on that I realized it just slid into the rubber grommets. I guess we'll see how it goes. Just seems like it would rattle right off there.
Nah not really... guess I was just turning them in the case. After about 10 turns I guess I thought I had got the job done and pulled it off. Like I said, I didn't realize they were for show until I went to put it back on lol.
