Default V&H Comp 2-1

Does anyone have an FXDF with forward controls and the V&H Comp Series 2-1? If so, tell it like it is.

Thanks

You can check my album for pictures. I like it, but some things to note. I have the black one and my boot has burned on and I can't find anything that'll take it off. It actually has like a brownish color there. If oil from the crankcase blows out and hits the pipe while running, you'll get spots from that, they won't come out. It's because it's ceramic coated. Other than that, I love the exhaust. Sound is exactly what I wanted and it's small, lightweight, easy to put on/take off. Maybe some day I'll find a coating for it that holds up better or wrap it.

I'm not running the pipe but I like it a lot. Looks good, heard it on a nighttrain a few months back and sounds good too. V&H markets it as a peak power pipe, ultimately that means it is a pipe best suited for high rpm as opposed to a good low torque pipe which really shines on the street. At least i think that is what they are saying. Real nice thing is you'll drop about 30lbs off your bike over a stock exhaust. I have been thinking long about getting one myself.

I asked about this a few weeks back and got no responses. Someone else must have one. I think they look great. Yet to ride with one either. I am working on getting some of my Dyna buddies to get one, but who knows when that will happen. That being said, the low end grunt with my new fatcat is off the hook.
