Right then. First thing i wanna say is that I have been blessed with a very cool dealer who actually gives a very big damn about his customers. He's not cheap, but the level of service and attention the bike (and I) get when we're at the shop is nothing short of brilliant. He's also got a VERY cute & friendly hottie working the accessories counter ...

So, I started this thread a wee while back. I have been to my dealer, they have been to Harley, Harley shrugged their shoulders, Dealer told me, I said it wasn't my problem and I wanted this vibe thing sorted, dealer agreed, and we started trying different tires....

Dunlop 402 sorted it. no vibes, no hum, smooth as it should be. Dealer took this back to Harley, and apparently they responded "Oh yeah, that vibe thing!" This after claiming no idea!! Good news is that my dealer is taking the cost of the tire and labor outta HD's *** instead of mine since the prob was there from new. So good result all round.

If you have nasty high freq vibes in the front end, try a dunlop 402. It sorted out my super glide beautifully.

I have the same vibration leaning into turns left or right at around 35 mph. I had the dealer look at it. I got new front wheel bearings, tightened a few spokes and I even had the True-Trak Stabalizers put on. It STILL vibrates. I never thought of th Michelin Scorchers causing it.

Okay, but mine still does it and I've been running Metzler Marathons for the last year.
I just don't believe the tires are the problem, at least not on my bike.
It did it with the stock Dunlops and it still does it with Metzlers that have a completely different tread pattern and hardness.

Hey all, new rider and new to forums. I have the exact same issue and it freaked me out the first time I felt it. Since I am new to riding I was concerned this would lead to bigger issues down the road; loose fork, instability in turns, etc. I really wish HD would address this; even if to say we're aware and it poses no threat or long term issues. My vibration isn't heavy but definitely noticeable.

Should I be concerned about future problems arising from this?
