I got mine done today. But the line operator screwed up and stuck them in the caustic as a part of the cleaning process. As a result they turned out a little hazy, I buffed them as well as I could but they didn't turn out as well as the sample I processed. I wanted to post a picture today but my daughter loaned it out to her friend. It'll be back tomorrow and I'll get a picture posted of the sample and the finished ones (on the bike) as soon as I can.
The wear test was turned in today on a piece of die cast plate as well, I'll get the results tomorrow and I still have to stop by the dealer to see what they want for levers.
Thanks for the support guys! I'm looking forward to helping you all out on this.

Good one Skee! Actually I thought I had run out of '06 Bob's.
Vnvjames, here's the thread describing what you'll need to know about it =>Tank Lift Thread<=. Also if you search this site for "tank lift" you will find many threads regarding this mod.
couple problems you might have is.dont make the coating to thick.might make your levers tight.and the bushings might not fit after, you might have to ream out the bushing holes or plug them before coating.your main problem of the finishing lasting isnt your hand rubs, its will be were the lever and the clamp to your levers meet.if they rub a little then it will scratch it off.and you might have to strip the orignal coating off first befor the new coating will stick.i have coated alot of things and those are just a couple little things you have to think of first.and are you having a shining or rough coating on the levers?hope it helped
Jackyl, first off Hard anodize is a very tough and thin coating, second, the coating thickness will be only .0015" thick so there will not be any tolerance issues and for contact I'll be bolting through the hole where the mounting pin passes through the levers. It'll be nice to know a anodizer hangs out here, do you have any anodizing experience?
Well I got my camera back and I took a few, but these are the best of them. I'll mess with my camera again tomorrow and see if I can get better ones.
The wear test is in progress as I type this. The R&D dept. didn't have time to do it yesterday but assured me they will have results Friday. Adn I stopped by a dealer today and they use their take-offs for repo's and salvage bikes. I'll try another dealer this weekend, this is Wisconsin and they're's alot of dealers to choose from so no worries.
