It really comes down to how well you want to know your ride your straddling there, rolling down the highway. If you have the what makes this thing tick attitude then use the money for labor and buy some of the tools that you would use like a torque wrench, 12mm allen wrench, 2ft long pvc pipe to drive new seals on. Also be a great time to change out your stock fork juice with some good stuff, maybe even amsoil pro shock therapy.
If not so much into the mechanical side of it, just have the ole dealer do it for ya, and hopefully they do as good of a job as you would do.

You might want to check into that for sure, because I always thought that gift cards could be used for genuine motor accessories,clothing,apparel,parts, and darn near anything but I wasn't aware that labor was one of em. I certainly could be wrong on that though, so check into it.
