2010 street bob emblems, rattle canned wrinkle black.
can't see it too well in your pic. I had actually thought of doing the same thing (pulling my badges, painting them gloss black and putting them back on)......... how does it look?

on my monitor the first pic comes in clear as day...the second one not so much.
IMO (take this with a grain of salt, it's my bike, after all) they look great.
with the wrinkle dash it looks like it came from the factory that way, and it plays nicely (or at least i intended it to) off of the wrinkle motor and other various doo-dads.
The Street Glides have similar tank emblems to the Street Bob's but they are chrome. Frome the dealer they are about $95 bucks each. You can find takeoffs on Ebay all the time for about $75 and up for the pair. I like them alot but not sure I want to spend that much on tank emblems
Take em off, you don't need no stinkin tank badges
I gotta agree. I don't like mine and when I get a little time and motivation, I'm gonna get them off (along with those bright yellow reflectors).
I had no idea they were so freakin expensive. My plan is to just take 'em off, get a tank lift from Jackyl, and go with that for a while. If I ever see some I like at a swap meet or something, I may get some more.
That may be your best route, antman. Swap meet or e-bay.

I thnk I'm gonna do that but in gloss.
Did you reuse the adhesive or replace it?
replaced it.
i painted them myself but when it came time to reapply i brought them to my buddy's body shop.
he cut the adhesive, used the good stuff, lined the emblems out and made sure they were put on there perfectly.
knowing myself, after doing a good job with some rattle can paint, i'd have put the emblems on all f*cked up.
