I had a progressive 440 blow on me. They were two years old and progressive had me send both back to them. They rebuilt them free of charge. The 440's have a lifetime warranty, don't know about the 412's. You better be hunting a jack if you don't have one because they will want both shocks and it will take about about 2 1/2 weeks before you get them back.
